In this 50 minute small group session we will focus on the basics of how to holistically nourish your body and mind. Together we will examine the damaging effects of diet culture and get familiar with new concepts such as intuitive eating and crowding out.
I’ll teach you ways of incorporating more nutrient dense whole foods, how to work towards eliminating processed and fast foods, how to read food labels, and how to identify harmful ingredients. We’ll discuss topics like cultural eating, and how all carbs are not created equal.
This course is meant to help give you a jumpstart in order to make the necessary lifestyle changes you’ve been looking for. You will walk away feeling more confident on how to move forward on your wellness journey.

About the expert:
Beatrice Walker is a holistic health coach, natural foods chef, and wellness educator. She is pursuing her health coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and will be a fully certified health practitioner in August 2020. She uses a bio-individual approach to wellness meaning that she will work closely with you to find out what works for you. After being laid off twice from overly stressful and demanding jobs in less than five years, she decided to take a giant leap of faith and not return to the corporate world and instead chose to pursue her passion of helping people through food and holistic health. Her goal is to help you create a safe and loving connection with food, and believes that healthy food coupled with mindfulness techniques can be a powerful combination for healing.
