Healthy Cooking and Snacking - SEPT 2

Do you avoid home cooking or frequently find yourself eating out or ordering in? Do you feel like you just don’t have the time or get overwhelmed/confused with making grocery lists and meal planning?—then this course is for you!

In this 50 minute session we will go over the importance of traditional home cooking and explore ways to make cooking feel less like a task and instead something that will spark joy. I will teach you mindful approaches to cooking as well as basic techniques that will make cooking easier and fun! We’ll also tackle unhealthy snacking habits and how to snack better. You’ll walk away with healthy snack inspo and also a new easy recipe to utilize during the week!

About the expert:

Beatrice Walker is a holistic health coach, natural foods chef, and wellness educator. She is pursuing her health coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and will be a fully certified health practitioner in August 2020. She uses a bio-individual approach to wellness meaning that she will work closely with you to find out what works for you. After being laid off twice from overly stressful and demanding jobs in less than five years, she decided to take a giant leap of faith and not return to the corporate world and instead chose to pursue her passion of helping people through food and holistic health. Her goal is to help you create a safe and loving connection with food, and believes that healthy food coupled with mindfulness techniques can be a powerful combination for healing.
