Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu - ‘Shi’ meaning finger, ‘atsu’ meaning pressure. Shiatsu is a Japanese massage treatment that cultivates energy back into depleted areas of the body and facilitates the movement of energy reducing present, recent, and chronic pain and discomfort that is being held. Through the soft tissue manipulations of palming, thumbing and stretching, Shiatsu works upon the same meridians used in acupuncture. Each meridian contains points that can be connected back to specific organs and systems in our body - by working these meridians and points, we are able to target specific issues and work towards feeling better and more centered mentally, emotionally, and physically.
